According to a recent poll, 55% of Americans disapprove of the Israeli military campaign, while 36% approve. The poll also found that 50% of Americans believe that Hamas's reasons for fighting Israel are valid, regardless of their personal feelings about the group.
Public sentiment is also divided on whether President Biden is favoring Israel or the Palestinians too much. 22% of Americans believe Biden is favoring Israel too much, while 16% believe he is favoring the Palestinians too much.
