An Overview
The 251 Sonderkraftfahrzeug was a German armoured half-track infantry fighting vehicle from World War II. It was designed to provide infantry with a mobile platform from which to fight, and was armed with a variety of weapons, including a machine gun, a 20mm cannon, and a flamethrower. History and Development

The 251 was produced in a number of different variants, including the Ausf. A, Ausf. B, and Ausf. C. The Ausf. A was the most common variant, and was produced in large numbers. The Ausf. B was a specialized variant designed for use by paratroopers, and the Ausf. C was a more heavily armored variant designed for use in combat engineer roles.
